This course will surprise everyone by intentionally mixing in the well-travelled and less-travelled roads throughout Vermont's most populous county. Our loop starts and ends at the same location making it convenient and familiar. A significant number of the total miles are on dirt roads and much of the paved roads are quiet and serene. Our intent is to bring out the adventurer in all of us to turn off the fast-path and just see what else is out there. Our course mixes serious uphills, downhills and dead-flats in a manner only Vermont can bring. The ever changing landscape surprises around every turn. What you will get from this course is a glimpse into the enjoyable dichotomy of this part of our state. Sprinkle in spectacular and seldom seen views of Camel's Hump and Mount Mansfield as well as the variety of Vermont's natural awe and we think you'll be yearning to spend more time the old way.
